Take the Malay Mail for instance. Even though I write for the New Straits Times, I have to say that if you want the cold, hard and uncensored truth, then the Malay Mail is your best bet. And plus, the Malay Mail is completely free!
Government controlled newspapers (I shall not mention names here, but you should know who they are) have strict censorship rules. Even the slightest slip up can throw an entire newspaper enterprise off balance. They just can't risk losing their money.
Which is why people like you and I who are kepochi, tend to look for the newspaper that actually delivers. (No pun intended XD)
Time for a little celebrity social experiment.
Below is a picture from today's Malay Mail. It's an article about a Barack Obama look-alike.

At first glance, which is which? Who is the real deal and who is the fake?

The guy on the left is Obama and on the right is an Indonesian dude called Ilham Anas. An Indonesian filming company is filming a movie about Obama's childhood day's in Indonesia. The movie is called, "Obama Anak Menteng". And guesss who gets to play Obama?
The Indonesian dude!
